Amy Mitchell

Amy, head of school at Clementine, is a lifelong learner. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Government and Sociology from Skidmore College. She also earned her Montessori Certification from the Montessori Institute for Teacher Education.

She has held  various positions within the Montessori education setting, including lead primary and toddler teacher and director. Being well-versed in both administrative and teaching roles, Amy aims to provide thoughtful guidance for children and educators. Each day, Amy enjoys reveling in our extraordinary children and watching them benefit from the inspired education guided by gifted, caring teachers. At Clementine, Amy is proud to say that we meet students where they are and help them grow their independence, confidence, skills, and knowledge from the toddler and primary curricula. 

In her personal life, Amy enjoys running and yoga. You can find her in her spare time enjoying nature and going for a nice hike. Amy is a proud mom to three children who also went through Montessori programs. Their education excited her to go back to school herself to give other families the wonderful experience her children had.
